Furness remain the team to beat in the John Smith's North Lancashire and Cumbria League Premier Division after rain severely had a big impact on the weekend's action.

Furness (147) now lead Workington (129) by 18 points after no games in the Premier Division reached a positive result.

In Division One, there were wins for Appleby Eden, Kirkby, Lindal Moor and Ulverston, who lead the table on 152 points from Kirkby on 142 and Workington II on 134.

Meanwhile, in the only Higson Cup quarter-final that went ahead, Cockermouth beat Cleator by 62 runs. The remaining three ties are scheduled to be played on 26th June.
