Raina To Lead India As Gambhir, Yuvraj Injured
Suresh Raina will lead India's limited overs side in the West Indies after the Indian board (BCCI) confirmed that Gautam Gambhir will miss the tour.
Gambhir had been named as skipper but he has been ruled out with a shoulder injury and joining him on the injured list is Yuvraj Singh, who misses out with a respiratory infection.
Replacing Gambhir and Yuvraj in the ODI and Twenty20 International squads are top-order batsman Shikhar Dhawan and Manoj Tiwary and Harbhajan Singh has been promoted to the vice-captaincy.
The squad for the Test series which follows a Twenty20 game and five ODIs does not include Sachin Tendulkar, who has been afforded time out of the game ahead of the tour to England in July.
Into the squad come Virat Kohli and Abhinav Mukund wile VVS Laxman has been appointed as Mahendra Singh Dhoni's vice-captain.
Parthiv Patel is included as back-up wicket-keeper.
