Rikki Clarke To Leave Derbyshire At End Of Season

Derbyshire all-rounder Rikki Clarke is to leave the club at the end of the 2008 season after the player's second year of his contract was mutually terminated.

Clarke gave up the captaincy of the club in early August, Chris Rogers taking over after joining the club for the 2008 season from Surrey.

Head of Cricket John Morris commented: "Things have not worked out and we wish Rikki all the best in his future career."
