Mumbai batsman Rohit Sharma has replaced Yuvraj Singh for India's third and final Test against the West Indies, which gets underway in Mumbai on 22nd November.

Despite India winning both matches in the series in Delhi and Kolkata, Yuvraj has struggled, with scores of 23, 18 and 25 to show for his efforts.

Uncapped Sharma's introduction to the squad is the only change and he joins opener Ajinkya Rahane, leg-spinner Rahul Sharma and quick bowler Varun Aaron in bidding to make a first Test appearance with the series already sewn up.

Rohit Sharma has played 67 One-Day Internationals and 22 Twenty20 Internationals for India and has scored 3,684 runs at 63.51 in 45 first-class matches for Mumbai, West Zone, Indian Board President's XI and India A.

Sharma came close to making his Test debut in February 2010 when, poised to replace the injured VVS Laxman against South Africa, he in turn injured himself in the warm-up, ruling himself out and handing an unexpected start to Wriddhaman Saha.

India won the opening match in Delhi by five wickets and the second game by an innings and 15 runs in Kolkata.

India squad: Mahendra Singh Dhoni (captain), Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar, VVS Laxman, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Ajinkya Rahane, Ishant Sharma, Ravichandran Ashwin, Pragyan Ojha, Umesh Yadav, Rahul Sharma, Varun Aaron
