Bangladesh A 202 (Roqibul Hasan 107no, Tredwell 6-95) v
England XI 68-3
Tour match, day one, Chittagong

Roqibul Hasan scored an unbeaten century as 13 wickets fell on the opening day of a tour game between the touring England side and Bangladesh A.

Roqibul's unbeaten 107 was not enough to prevent his side being bowled out for 202 as off-spinner James Tredwell advanced his claims for a Test call-up with six wickets.

Batsmen continued to struggle when England batted, and they slipped to 68 for three at stumps in reply.

An all-Yorkshire pairing of Ajmal Shahzad and Tim Bresnan opened the bowling for England and Shahzad struck to remove Zunaed Siddique for 16 when he was caught by Matthew Prior.

Liam Plunkett chipped in as wickets continued to tumble, Tredwell dismissing Shamsur Rahman (21), captain Mohammad Ashraful (1) and Shuvaguto Horn (9) before ripping through the tail-enders to complete figures of six for 95.

Hasan stayed firm at the other end, facing 165 balls while there was an impressive first start in senior England colours for Middlesex seamer Steven Finn, who finished with two for 13 from seven tidy overs.

Michael Carberry (5), Alastair Cook (19) and Kevin Pietersen (2) were the batsmen to be dismissed as England made a poor start to their reply, Dolar Mahmud, Robiul Islam and Mehrab Hossain grabbing a wicket apiece.

Warwickshire pair Jonathan Trott, on 32, and Ian Bell, on two, were unbeaten at stumps.
