Royal Challengers Bangalore 139-2 (Taylor 65, Dravid 32no) beat
Delhi Daredevils 138-6 (Sehwag 47, Kumble 3-20) by eight wickets
Airtel Champions League Twenty20 League B, Bangalore

Ross Taylor's half-century set up an eight-wicket win for the Royal Challengers Bangalore over IPL rivals Delhi Daredevils that effectively put both teams out of the Champions League.

Taylor smashed 65 in 38 balls as the Challengers closed on 139 for two in reply to the Daredevils' score of 138 for six and the Daredevils' failure to win confirms that Victoria and the Cape Cobras go through to the semi-finals.

Taylor was in superb form, however, hitting six fours and four sixes to hurry the IPL runners-up to victory with a ball shy of five overs remaining, Virat Kohli blasting an unbeaten 24 in ten balls as well.

Earlier, Anil Kumble had taken three for 20 as the Daredevils failed to post a competitive score despite 47 in 29 balls from opener Virender Sehwag. He slammed six fours and a six before leg-spinner Kumble dismissed Tillakaratne Dilshan (20), Dinesh Karthik (2) and Owais Shah (17).

Left-arm seamer Dirk Nannes did remove Taylor and Robin Uthappa (9) after Manish Pandey retired hurt on three but the Challengers easily had enough to ensure they ended their tournament on a high.
