Queensland fast bowler Ryan Harris has been added to Australia's One-Day International squad ahead of the third match against Pakistan in Adelaide as cover for Peter Siddle.
Siddle has reported back soreness following Australia's 140-run win in the second game in Sydney and Cricket Australia confirmed that Harris would be joining the squad as a 'shadow' player.
“Peter Siddle experienced some back soreness after last night’s ODI in Sydney. He’ll be assessed during the course of the day tomorrow when a decision on his availability for the match at Adelaide Oval will be made," team physio Alex Kountouris explained.
Harris, who has also represented South Australia, Surrey and the Deccan Chargers, played one One-Day International against South Africa in January 2009 in Hobart, a game Australia won by five runs.
He has also signed to be Yorkshire's overseas player in the 2010 English domestic season.
Australia lead the five-match series 2-0 after a five-wicket win in Brisbane and the victory in Sydney.
