Left-arm pacer Sajedul Islam is on his way to South Africa to replace Syed Rasel, who has suffered a recurrence of a back injury that has ruled him out of the two-Test series that begins next week.

Islam has been in good form in the Ispahani Mirzapore Tea National Cricket League, where he has taken 17 wickets at an average of 19 for Barisal.

Islam made his Test debut in January, playing in both Test against New Zealand in Dunedin and Wellington.
