It is that time of the year when most people are thinking of BBQ’s, days out by the sea, holidays abroad and even the forthcoming football season. Sales Manager for The Point, Peter Ash says: “We had Santa here last year tasting the Christmas menu alongside ‘Freddie’ Flintoff and I think he was hoping to tuck in again this year but our catering team have got wise to his visits.”

Peter adds: “We look forward to Santa joining us at our Christmas parties which this year commences on Friday 30th November. It is going to be another exciting and busy time for our catering team. Officials from the Club, Morgan Sindall, BDP and members of Lancashire County Cricket Club Foundation's Young Trustees' Group signed the steelwork at the top of the Pavilion to mark the final completion of the steel frame.
