Saqlain Mushtaq Reiterates Desire To Play For England

Surrey spinner Saqlain Mushtaq has reiterated his wish to play for England once the former Pakistan international qualifies as an England-eligible player in April.

The 31-year-old has taken 208 wickets in 49 Tests for Pakistan and has played in county cricket for Surrey, Sussex and Ireland and is the holder of a British passport through marriage.

He said, "I want to play at the highest level...if England call me, (I will) definitely (play)."

Saqlain's last appearance for Pakistan was in 2004.
