West Indies 253-8 (Sarwan 123) beat
Kenya 192 (Obuya 68) by 61 runs
ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 warm-up, Colombo
Scorecard
Ramnaresh Sarwan scored a century as the West Indies eased to a comfortable 61-run win over Kenya in a warm-up match ahead of the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup in Colombo.
Sarwan made 123 and Dwayne Bravo 54 as the West Indies overcome a slow start to post 253 for eight in their 50 overs, Thomas Odoyo taking three for 34 and Steve Tikolo two for 32.
No other player could pass 17 but Sarwan's innings included 11 fours and five sixes and set the West Indies up for victory as Kenya were dismissed for 192 in reply.
Andre Russell (4-43) and Kemar Roach (3-23) proved too much for the Kenyans to handle, and despite the best efforts of Collins Obuya, who hit 68, they were dismissed in the 46th over of their reply.
