Scotland have named a strong squad for their two-match series of One-Day Internationals against Pakistan on 17th and 19th May in Edinburgh.
New captain Kyle Coetzer will lead the side for the first time and there are as many as eight cricketers in the squad with county contracts.
Former Warwickshire all-rounder Neil Carter is also selected along with Freddie Coleman, a current Warwickshire batsman.
If selected in the matches, Majid Haq has the opportunity to become Scotland's leading wicket-taker in ODIs as he currently sits level with John Blain on 41.
"We are really looking forward to the challenge," head coach Peter Steindl said.
"Pakistan are full of fantastic cricketers, but we will be bringing our fighting qualities, and expect a strong performance in front of a home crowd."
New Scotland captain Kyle Coetzer added, "It will be an immense honour and a fantastic occasion which will fill me with pride leading out my country against a cricketing powerhouse like Pakistan - especially at the home of Scottish Cricket.
"More importantly though, we are seeing this as a great opportunity to showcase our skills and test ourselves against one of the best teams in the world."
Scotland ODI squad: Kyle Coetzer (captain), Preston Mommsen (vice-captain), Richie Berrington, Neil Carter, Freddie Coleman, Josh Davey, Gordon Drummond, Majid Haq, Moneeb Iqbal, Matt Machan, David Murphy, Rob Taylor, Iain Wardlaw
