The fourth and final Twenty20 International between Scotland and Ireland in Bready has been abandoned without a ball being bowled because of persistent rain.
The washout allowed Scotland to win the series 2-0 after the second T20I was also abandoned.
An extra T20I game was inserted in the schedule specifically to make up for the lost game but more of that was not possible with the Scottish team returning back later in the day.
Matthew Cross who turned in match winning performances with the bat in both the games for Scotland was awarded the man-of-the-series.
