The second Twenty20 International between New Zealand and West Indies Women was abandoned due to rain after just two overs of play were possible.

In that time, the home side had won the toss, chosen to field and picked up the early wicket of Natasha McLean, who was run out by Hayley Jensen and Rachel Priest for three.

Kycia Knight was unbeaten on one and Kyshona Knight had made two when play was abandoned with the West Indies on seven for one.

New Zealand won the opening match in the five-game series by 32 runs to go 1-0 up and had brought in Samantha Curtis, Holly Huddleston and Felicity Leydon-Davis to make their debuts in this game.

New Zealand won the One-Day International series that preceded the Twenty20s 3-0.
