Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar is an injury doubt for the first One Day International against the West Indies in Abu Dhabi.
Shoaib has injured a calf muscle during training and will face a fitness ahead of the first of three matches on Wednesday (November 12th).
"He is a doubtful starter as he is not in good shape," an official said.
Shoaib made a return to international cricket after 10 months out of the game due to disciplinary reasons during last months Twenty20 Quadrangular in Canada, where Pakistan lost in the final to Sri Lanka.
The second and third ODIs against the West Indies are on November 14th and 16th.
