Michael Lumb, Michael Carberry, Chris Tremlett, Jimmy Adams, Chris Benham and David Balcolmbe have all signed new contracts at Hampshire.

Lumb, Carberry and Tremlett have committed themselves until the end of the 2011 season with three-year contracts while Adams, Benham and Balcombe have signed until the end of the 2010 season.

“I am delighted that this group of players have extended their contracts," Team Manager Giles White said. "They are all highly valued by the club and it is hoped that they will form the core of the side for years to come.”

12 month development contracts have been handed to Tom Parsons, Ben Howell, James Vince, Hamza Riazzudin and Chris Morgan, all of whom have graduated from Hampshire's Academy.

“These young players are a product of our academy," White added. "We have talent coming through and this is testament to the good foundations in place at Hampshire.”
