The new Slazenger Ultimate range

Slazenger's latest equipment range is the Ultimate, including top-end pads and gloves used by professional and international cricketers.

The Ultimate range has an International protection rating - fitting for a company which supplies such players as Jacques Kallis, Eoin Morgan and Matthew Prior.

The Ultimate glove has a carbon fibre WR100 Pittard leather palm, 1500 K armour protection on the lead fingers, braided fibre inserts and benefits from the NRG Dispersion System.

It also uses moulded absorption foam, has a two-piece foam, low-profile quick-release wrist straps and a side protection system for both sides.

The Ultimate pad has a re-designed impact socket, moulded absorption foam, an angled knee roll, VAP-R8 Mesh Shin/Knee Bolster and a Dura Tec instep.

These innovations mean that the pad is ultra lightweight despite having a triple shin bolster.
