Wrenthorpe stayed on course for the Solly Central Yorkshire League title with a 178-run win over strugglers Batley.
Former Northamptonshire player David Paynter was top scorer with 86 as Wrenthorpe made a formidable 294 for eight while Alex Sharp scored 54 and Luke Patel 34.
Paynter then completed a fine all-round performance by taking five for 23 while left arm pace bowler Neil Gill took two for 30 as Wrenthorpe shot out Batley for 116.
The leaves Wrenthorpe still 18 points clear of their nearest rivals New Farnley.
New Farnley beat Ossett by seven wickets after bowling out their opponents for 72.
Birstall banished their relegation fears by beating Townville by 59 runs. Connor Williams was top scorer with 74 while skipper Stewart Clifton made 58 in Birstall’s challenging total of 247 for four. Adam Walton led Townville’s challenge with 86, but they were bowled out for 188.
Bottom club Liversedge slipped deeper into trouble after an eight-wicket defeat against Wakefield Thornes. Liversedge collapsed from 52 for two to 109 all out as Scott Wightman took four for 32, Anwar Hafeez three for eight and Matthew Varley two for 15. David Meiring (45 not out) and Hafeez (33) guided Thornes to a comfortable victory.
