South Africa were fined for completing their overs too slowly in the second Twenty20 International against Australia in Brisbane, just as they were in the first in Melbourne.

Taking their time over proceedings did them no favours, however, as they lost both matches, the first by 52 runs and the second by six wickets.

Captain Johan Botha lost 10 percent of his match fee with the remaining players losing five percent.

The first of five One Day Internationals between the two countries takes place in Melbourne on January 16th. Australia's Michael Clarke is still struggling with a thumb injury although he will train with the squad. David Warner has been drafted in as cover for the right-hander.
