South Africa have named an unchanged 15-man Test squad for the two-match series against India that begins on 18th December in Johannesburg.
They have retained the same group of players that travelled to the United Arab Emirates and drew 1-1 with Pakistan.
The opening Test is at The Wanderers and the second match follows in Durban from 26th December.
"We were very happy with the performance of the Castle Lager Proteas in the second Test match at Dubai," Cricket South Africa selection convener Andrew Hudson said.
"We see no need to change something that is operating well."
South Africa Test squad: Graeme Smith (captain), AB de Villiers (vice-captain, wicket-keeper), Hashim Amla, JP Duminy, Faf du Plessis, Dean Elgar, Imran Tahir, Jacques Kallis, Rory Kleinveldt, Morne Morkel, Alviro Petersen, Robin Peterson, Vernon Philander, Dale Steyn, Thami Tsolekile (wicket-keeper)
