All 16 teams competing in the ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier in the United Arab Emirates have named their 14-man squads for the tournament.

The two finalists in the competition will qualify for the 2012 ICC World Twenty20 in Sri Lanka.

Former Australian international Michael di Venuto will be appearing for Italy, former England Ashes winner Geraint Jones will be representing Papua New Guinea, the country of his birth.

Reigning champions Afghanistan have named a squad containing eight players that helped them to the title two years ago while Ireland are boosted by having former England batsman Ed Joyce as well as ten players who finished as runners-up to Afghanistan in 2010.

The competition gets underway on 13th March and the final is on 24th March.
