Sri Lanka A Cruise Past Worcestershire

An assured fifty from Dilruwan Perera helped Sri Lanka A to their second victory of their tour of England, after Akalanka Ganagema and Ishura Amerasinghe had helped bowl Worcestershire out for just 176 at the Royal Grammar School in Worcester.

Worcestershire were quickly in trouble, stumbling to 26 for 5 before an impressive rearguard from Ray Price (49), Steven Davies (39) and Gareth Batty (27) gave their bowlers something to bowl at.

In the end, the Sri Lankan side made the target with just under 15 overs to spare, and were never troubled. Perera made 74 and Jehan Mubarak hit three sixes in his 48 from 59 balls.
