Sri Lanka have named their 30-man provisional squad for the ICC World Twenty20 to be held in March and April in Bangladesh.
Sri Lanka have twice reached the final of the competition, in England in 2009 and on home soil two years ago but are still pursuing their first win.
Dinesh Chandimal will lead the squad which includes the experience of Tillakaratne Dilshan, Mahela Jayawardene, Kumar Sangakkara and Lasith Malinga, along with uncapped all-rounders Milinda Siriwardene and Ashen Priyanjan, who has played ODI cricket but is yet to play in a Twenty20 International.
The squad will be halved with Sri Lanka obliged to name a final 15-man squad before the tournament begins.
Sri Lanka begin their campaign when they play South Africa on 22nd March and they go on to meet a qualifier on 24th March, England three days later and finish their group stage against New Zealand on 31st March.
