Angelo Mathews, Suranga Lakmal and Kaushal Silva have been named in Sri Lanka's 15-man Test squad for the three-match series against Pakistan.
With Prasanna Jayawardene ruled out through injury, either Silva or captain Kumar Sangakkara will don the gloves when the series gets underway in Galle on 4th July.
Mathews has impressed during the start of his international career in One-Day Internationals and particularly in the ICC World Twenty20 World Cup, where he played a key role in helping Sri Lanka reach the final.
The Test series will be Sri Lanka's first since their convoy was attacked by gunmen in Pakistan in March, and Thilan Samaraweera and Ajantha Mendis, two of the players injured during the assault, are also named in the squad.
