Sri Lanka have recalled middle-order batsman Chamara Silva for the upcoming One-Day International tri-series in which they host India and New Zealand.

The tournament gets underway on 10th August when India play New Zealand and Silva has been rewarded for a good run of form playing for Sri Lanka A with a recall to the full team.

Mahela Jayawardene has been retained as Kumar Sangakkara's vice-captain, having taken over that role following the retirement of Muttiah Muralitharan.

Sri Lanka are first in action when they play New Zealand on 13th August.
