The second and third One-Day Internationals between New Zealand and Sri Lanka have been shifted from Colombo to Pallekele due to adverse weather forecasts.

Prevailing weather and ground conditions paint a gloomy forecast for play in Colombo and the teams will remain in Pallekele, where the opening two games of the tour were both washed out.

As the weather system that limited the two teams to just 16 overs in the opeing two matches moves on, however, a brighter outlook is expected to increase prospects of play for the matches on 4th and 6th November.

Tickets already issued for the matches in Colombo will be valid in Pallekele.

The Twenty20 International that opened the tour was abandoned after New Zealand had faced 14 overs and Sri Lanka two while the opening ODI was abandoned without a ball being bowled.
