South Africa will arrive in the country on 30th June and begin the tour with a one-day warm-up match on 3rd July.

They will then play the ODIs in Colombo, Pallekele and Hambantota between 6th and 12th July.

Galle will host the first Test beginning on 16th July before the two sides move on to the SSC ground in Colombo for the second Test on 24th July.

"The Test series is the one that was postponed from last year at Sri Lanka’s request, and is indicative of the good progress we are making in finalising commitments with all countries in terms of the ICC Future Tours Programme (FTP)," Cricket South Africa (CSA) Chief Executive, Haroon Lorgat said.
