Sri Lanka will play tour matches against Essex, Kent, Northamptonshire and Sussex during their 2014 tour of England, the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has confirmed.

Ahead of the Twenty20 International and five-match One-Day International series, Sri Lanka will play Essex and Kent in day/night one-day games on 13th and 16th May respectively.

They will then take on Sussex in a Twenty20 game on 18th May, two days before they play England at The Oval.

Following the ODI series, where they play at The Oval, Chester-le-Street, Old Trafford, Lord's and Edgbaston, they will meet Northamptonshire in a four-day game beginning on 5th June.

That is their only warm-up match ahead of two Tests against England at Lord's and Headingley, beginning on 12th and 20th June.
