Sri Lanka Women will tour India to play three One-Day Internationals and three Twenty20 Internationals in January.
The matches will provide both teams with opportunities to prepare for the ICC Women's World Twenty20 2014, which is to be held in Bangladesh in 2014.
Sri Lanka memorably beat India on home soil during the World Cup earlier this year, subsequently playing in series against the West Indies and South Africa as they looked to build on their strong showing.
The Sri Lankan selectors have named a preliminary squad for the tour, although the match dates are yet to bc confirmed.
Dilani Manodara is included subject to proving her fitness while Chamini Seneviratne will only be considered for the ODIs.
