Australia have announced a 13-man squad for the two Test tour against Bangladesh to be played between 27th August and 4th September.

In the place of Starc, James Pattinson, who had a successful county stint with Nottinghamshire will join the squad while an additional pacer is due to be named following the Australia A Tour of South Africa extending the squad to 14 members.

Uncapped leg-spinner Mitchell Swepson, Mitchell Marsh, Shaun Marsh, Jackson Bird and Marcus Stoinis are also left out from the squad that played in India while Hilton Cartwright earns a recall after playing a solitary Test against Pakistan at home.
