Middlesex fast bowler Steven Finn has earned an England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) incremental contract after he made his fourth Test appearance against Bangladesh at Old Trafford.

An England player gains an incremental contract when he reaches 20 points - five points are given for a Test match appearance and two points are awarded for a Twenty20 or ODI appearance.

Finn played twice against Bangladesh earlier this year and has now played twice against them at home.

The 21-year-old was joined in the team at Old Trafford by Yorkshire quick Ajmal Shahzad, who is making his Test debut after England won the toss and decided to bat first.

Bangladesh replaced Rubel Hossain and Robiul Islam with pace bowler Shafiul Islam and left-arm spinner Abdur Razzak.
