Surrey have named a 13-man squad for their LV= County Championship clash with Middlesex that gets underway at Lord's on 27th April.

Fast bowlers Chris Jordan and Tim Linley are added to the side that drew with Glamorgan in Cardiff. Jordan is recovering from injury but has been showing good form in second-team cricket while Linley played Surrey's first game against Northamptonshire before missing out in Cardiff.

Surrey, who bet365 make 6/5 to beat Middlesex, currently sit in eighth place in the table following draws in both of their games so far this season.

England & Wales Cricket Board chairman David Collier has paid tribute to former Surrey and England fast bowler Peter Loader, who has died aged 81. Loader played 13 Tests between 1954 and 1958, taking 39 wickets while his first-class career garnered him 1,108 wickets at an average of 19.04 for Surrey before he retired in 1963.
Surrey wicket-keeper Gary Wilson has signed a new contract which should keep him at the Kia Oval until the end of the 2012 season. The 25-year-old, currently with Ireland at the Cricket World Cup, has been rewarded for a fine showing in 2010, when he averaged 43.62 in six first-class matches.
Surrey batsman Mark Ramprakash has signed a new contract extension which will see him remain at the Kia Oval until the end of the 2012 season. Ramprakash, who as scored more than 15,000 first-class runs for Surrey, will be 43 when the contract expires. He is currently recovering from a knee injury suffered while playing football in November.
