Sussex Announce Surrey Twenty20 Game Sell-Out

All 7000 tickets for Sussex Sharks' much-anticipated clash with Surrey Brown Caps at Hove on Friday June 29 have sold out today. The last time that the County Ground entertained a sell out crowd was in the 1999 World Cup. The newly erected North Stand in place for Twenty20 Cup this season has increased the County Ground's capacity by 1000 making Friday's anticipated attendance one of the biggest ever for Sussex.

Gus Mackay, Chief Executive, said; "We are delighted to be accommodating more spectators for a domestic game than ever before. The fantastic demand for these tickets shows how popular the Twenty20 format has now become and we know that many attendees this year will be new to the game and the County Ground. Unlike our first Twenty20 home fixture, let's hope the weather will be kind to us and allow the crowd and players an exciting evening".

Tickets for Essex Eagles on Tuesday July 3 and Hampshire Hawks on Friday July 6 are selling fast and it is strongly advised to purchase tickets in advance to avoid disappointment. Tickets are available online at www.sussexcricket.co.uk and on 0871 282 2000.
