Sussex Announce Twenty20 Ticket Sell-Out

Tickets for the home clash between Sussex Sharks and Yorkshire Phoenix have now sold out. The County Ground in Eaton Road, Hove will be packed to its 7000 capacity when Sussex will be battling for a place in the last four at Edgbaston on Finals Day.

Three of the five Twenty20 home games have now sold out this season, which shows the increasing popularity of the game. Increased marketing activity specific to the Twenty20 Cup this season is also directly attributable to the higher profile of the game and some of the best ever crowds ever for the club as a result.

Gus Mackay, Chief Executive said; " This sell out game is more fantastic news for Sussex and testament to the growing popularity of the Twenty20 format. We are sure that the excitement and glamour of the Twenty20 Cup has brought a new and younger audience to cricket in the county and that only has to be good for the future of the game."
