Sussex News Ahead Of Essex Eagles Pro40 Match

Sussex Sharks travel to Colchester on Sunday August 26 to take on Essex Eagles in the NatWest Pro 40 competition. The Sharks are currently lying in second place in the Division One League, one point behind Worcestershire.

Sussex will name their team from the following squad:

Sussex vs Essex in One-Day Cricket:

· Overall, Essex leads the series 36-17, with one No Result and one Tied match.
· In matches in Essex, the home side lead by 20 wins to 10, with one tie (1988, Ilford).
· This will be the first meeting between the sides in a one-day match at Colchester - and the seventh Essex ground to have hosted a match between the teams.
