Former Middlesex player Chad Keegan has been offered the chance to impress Sussex after the club offered him a trial over the next couple of weeks.
“Today is another opportunity to see what attributes Chad could bring to the squad," Mark Robinson said, revealing that Keegan will play in the Friends Provident match against Surrey.
"It’s a dead match now, as we have qualified for the quarter finals in the competition, so we will be using the match to rest a few of the regulars and also give a few of the fringe players a chance to perform.”
South African-born Keegan has played 47 first-class matches and 87 One Day games in his career before he was released by Middlesex in 2007.
