Sussex Prepare For Hove Festival

After the excitement of theTwenty20 Cup Finals Day Sussex will begin their annual Hove Festival at the County Ground From Monday August 6.

A week packed with cricket starts with a floodlit Pro 40 match against Gloucestershire starting at 4.40pm. From Wednesday 8 to Saturday 11 the continuing battle to retain the Liverpool Victoria County Championship will resume with Sussex taking on Warwickshire at Hove.

The week will culminate in a Family Day for the Pro 40 battle against neighbouring rivals Hampshire. For this match the doors will open earlier than usual at 11am to allow spectators to make full use of all the activities on offer. These will include an open ground policy where members' areas will be open to all, there will be guest summer beers and a BBQ, live music, a bouncy castle, face painting, kids competitions and an exclusive junior member autograph signing session with a player. There will even be a race of mascots led by Sussex's own Sid the Shark and children under 16 will also get in absolutely free for this day!
