Sussex Team News Ahead Of Kent Twenty20 Match

Sussex Sharks travel to Canterbury today to take on Kent Spitfires in the Twenty20 Cup.

With a disappointing washout at Hove on Sunday June 24 and a loss to Essex last week, the Sharks are looking to achieve their first win in the competition. Pro Cricket Manager, Mark Robinson said:

"We had a disappointing washout at the weekend but we are looking great in practice and took Essex very close in our encounter last week. We now lose Michael Yardy to England duty but we have a lot of strength in depth in the squad and it gives an opportunity for others in the squad to make an impact. We wish Mike the best of luck with England."

Sussex will name their team from the following squad: Adams CJ*, Ahmed Mushtaq, Goodwin MW, Hopkinson CD, Hodd AJ+, Kirtley RJ, Liddle C,Martin-Jenkins RSC, Nash CD, Rana Naved ul Hasan, Rayner OP, Smith TJ,
Wright LJ.
