West Indies Women 121-2 (Taylor 71) beat
South Africa Women 120 by eight wickets
Third One-Day International, Dominica
Stafanie Taylor took four wickets and scored a half-century to launch the West Indies Women to an eight-wicket win over South Africa Women in the third One-Day International in Dominica.
She returned four for 22 as South Africa were bowled out for 120 and then top scored with 71 as the West Indies took their first win of the series.
Taylor removed Shandre Fritz (15), Mignon du Preez (20), Marizanne Kapp (9) and Marcia Letsoalo (5) as the home side delivered by far their best performance of the series to date.
Shaquana Quintyne matched Taylor's achievement but conceded just 14 runs in her 10 overs as South Africa were bowled out in 47.1 overs - du Preez's 20 ending up as the top score.
Taylor then added 75 for the first wicket with Kycia Knight, who justified her promotion to the top of the order with 24 in 54 balls to get the innings off to a solid start.
Taylor made 71 in 98 balls, hitting eight fours before she was caught and bowled by Sunette Loubser but from 111 for two, there was no way back for South Africa.
Shemaine Campbelle (17 not out) and Deandra Dottin (4 not out) led the hosts to victory in the 30th over.
