Ten women cricketers have been named for the ICC European Women’s Academy, which heads back to Spain later this month.
The elite women’s performance camp in the Pepsi ICC European Development Programme is returning back to La Manga Club, a world-class leisure resort located on the South-Eastern coast of Spain on the Costa Calida.
This year sees four participants from Ireland, three from Scotland and three from Netherlands to join the coaching team of ICC Regional Performance Officer, Philip Hudson; former England women’s team representative Kelly Evenson; Norfolk Cricket Board High Performance Coach Chris Brown and former Gloucestershire CCC player Steven Snell.
The programme will include net sessions, video analysis, centre-wicket practice and 1:1 discussions with coaches. The academy runs from 29 March-3 April.
