Sachin Tendulkar has ended a year-long hunt for his 100th international century by reaching three figures against Bangladesh in the Asia Cup.
His 49th century in One-Day Internationals came in the 44th over of his side's effort, batting first against the tournament hosts in Mirpur.
He was given a standing ovation at the ground and congratulated by the Bangladesh players after reaching the milestone and his relief having finally done so was writ large upon his face.
He was finally dismissed for 114 in 147 balls having hit 12 fours and a six as India made their way to 289 for five.
