Tendulkar To Miss Final Sri Lanka One-Dayer

India batsman Sachin Tendulkar will miss Saturday's deciding one-dayer against Sri Lanka due to back trouble, chief selector Dilip Vengsarkar said.

"Sachin has got a stiff back, he won't be playing," Vengsarkar said by phone from Mumbai on Thursday.

The teams are tied 1-1 ahead of the game in Visakhapatnam, their final international match ahead of the World Cup starting in West Indies next month.

Tendulkar, 33, who holds the records for most one-day runs and centuries, has suffered a series of injuries in the past attributed mainly to the wear and tear of constant playing.
