Test Match Saturday Sold Out
Despite an Ashes Series to forget down under, tickets for Day Two (Saturday 16 June) of England’s npower Test Match against the West Indies in June have now sold out.
England take on the touring West Indian side in the fourth and final npower Test Match of the Series at Durham’s home ground starting on Friday 15 June 2007.
Tickets for day one, three and four are still available and with prices starting at only £20 for adults and £10 for under 16’s it is a great opportunity to witness what will be the highlight of the North East sporting calendar in 2007.
Tickets for day five are just £10 each and there’s every chance you could witness an explosive finale of what should be a closely fought match! If play finishes before day five you will be entitled to a refund.
Durham County Cricket Club Commercial Manager, Gordon Hollins, said, “There is undoubtedly a real sense of excitement about the England side returning to the North East to play an npower Test Match at the Riverside in what will be the biggest sporting event ever staged in the region.
“Cricket is always passionately supported in the region and it is no surprise that day two has already sold out, especially with the likelihood of three of our players being included in the England squad. Tickets are still available for days one, three and four, although they are selling quickly, so I would encourage anyone planning to come along to the match to book their tickets as soon as possible to ensure they get the best possible seats.”
