India v Australia  - match abandoned
Third One-Day International, Margao

The third and final One-Day International between India and Australia was abandoned due to rain and a wet outfield in Margao.

After a number of inspections, the match went the same way as the first one in Kochi, with the umpires eventually coming to the decision that the ground was not fit to play.

India claimed the series 1-0 after they won the second match in Visakhapatnam by five wickets.
