As the third Test between India and Australia is about to get underway in Ranchi on Thursday, Chetan Narula previews us the game for us.
Chetan believes the on-field tussle between the teams has spiced up the series further added that he was surprised by International Cricket Council's decision to not act on the Decision Review System controversy that shoot up in the final innings of the second Test in Bengaluru when Steven Smith tried consulting the dressing room on the usage of a review after given out LBW.
Chetan also insisted that the pitch used at HEC International Cricket Stadium Complex had a lot of dark patches on it and may have uneven bounce like the other two games.
Coming to the team composition Chetan stated that Pat Cummins is all but certain to replace Mitchell Starc while one of Marcus Stoinis and Glenn Maxwell is likely to take the place of Mitchell Marsh, who has headed back to Australia.
For India, Murali Vijay is expected to return back, taking the place of Abhinav Mukund while India might be tempted to have the fifth bowler in Jayant Yadav in the place of an extra batsman, more likely Karun Nair.
