Lahiru Thirimanne scored an unbeaten century before the three-day tour game between Australia and the Sri Lanka Cricket Board XI was drawn in Colombo.
Thirimanne was unbeaten on 100 as the Sri Lankans closed on 174 for two in their second innings with Angelo Mathews also unbeaten on 30.
Australia were eventually bowled out for 393 in their only innings, Usman Khawaja hitting 101 on day two and Dilruwan Perera ending up with figures of three for 132.
The Board XI had been dismissed for 258 in their first innings on day one with Trent Copeland taking five wickets.
The first Test between Sri Lanka and Australia gets underway in Galle on 31st August.
