Sri Lanka have called up uncapped batsmen Kithururan Vithanage and all-rounders Angelo Perera and Sachith Pathirana for the first two games in the One-Day International series against Bangladesh.
Vithanage played in both Tests but is yet to play an ODI and the squad shows a number of other changes from the team that took on Australia.
Mahela Jayawardene is absent through injury, Rangana Herath is rested while Akila Dananjaya, Ajantha Mendis and Suranga Lakmal have been left out.
Kumar Sangakkara returns having missed the Australia series through injury, and alongside the three new faces, spinner Sachithra Senanayake is also returned.
Tillakaratne Dilshan is included in the squad but will only play provided he can prove his fitness ahead of the three-match series which gets underway on 23rd March in Hambantota.
Angelo Perera, who joins namesakes Kushal and Thisara in the squad, is a right-hand batsman and slow left-arm bowler who has scored 919 runs in 50 one-day games as well as taking 16 wickets. Left-hander Pathirana has been marginally more prolific, scoring 984 runs in 45 matches and taking 61 wickets with his slow left-arm spin.
Vithanage has played just 18 one-day games but has been given the opportunity to build onthe solid start he has made to his international career after scoring a half-century on Test debut.
