Tickets To See World's Number One At Edgbaston Now On Sale

Following their rise to the summit of Test Cricket, tickets to see England in action in 2012 at the redeveloped Edgbaston Stadium are now on-sale.

For the first time in the stadium's history, England will play at Edgbaston in all three forms of the game, starting with a Test Match against the West Indies, which begins on Thursday 7 June during the summer Half Term week. This is followed by a Day/Night NatWest Series One Day International against Australia (Wednesday 4 July), then a NatWest T20 International against South Africa (Wednesday 12 September).

James McLaughlin, Commercial Director at Warwickshire County Cricket Club, said: "The world-renowned atmosphere at Edgbaston and our new £32 million Pavilion End, makes international cricket at this stadium one of the great days out in UK sport. What's more, England have a great record here with just one Test Match defeat here in the last 10 years.

"Staging the Test Match during Half Term week gives so many more families the opportunity to attend, so we've chosen to bring in a 'Kids for a Quid' promotion on the first day (Thursday 7 June). This offer is also available for our floodlit T20 International against South Africa, and allows youngsters to see the world's best cricketers for just £1."

Edgbaston is currently rewarding customers that book tickets to the England v West Indies Test Match in 2012 with the first chance to secure tickets for the NatWest Series One Day International against Australia.
