It's never fair to laugh when a player picks up an injury but when Adnan Akmal fractured his finger off the final ball of day three of the first Test against Sri Lanka, it was hard to keep a straight face.
Pakistan thrashed England by ten wickets on day three of the opening Test in Dubai after they produced a ruthlessly clinical performance to register the first outright result at the venue.
They built a first-innings lead of 146 by scoring 338 thanks to Adnan Akmal's 61 then routed England for 160 before finishing proceedings by cruising to 15 without loss in their second innings.
Pakistan have handed places in their Test squad to play the West Indies to wicket-keeper Mohammad Salman and all-rounder Hammad Azam.
Both players have impressed in the ongoing One-Day International series and Salman's inclusion means that neither Adnan or Kamran Akmal are included.
