Edwards, Brindle, Gunn Hammer Pakistan

The experienced trio of Charlotte Edwards, Arran Brindle and Jenny Gunn turned in starring performances as England Women thumped Pakistan Women by 111 runs in the first of two One-Day Internationals. Louth's London Road ground in Lincolnshire hosted international cricket for the first time as England posted 227 for seven and then dismissed Pakistan for 116 in reply.

England captain Charlotte Edwards became just the third woman to reach eight One-Day International centuries as she led her side to a third-place finish at the Women's World Cup in Mumbai. Edwards warded off a late flurry of wickets with an unbeaten 106 as England closed on 222 for six in reply to New Zealand's total of 220 for eight.

Reigning Women's World Cup champions England got their campaign back on track following their unexpected one-wicket defeat to Sri Lanka with a 32-run win over India in Mumbai. Charlotte Edwards scored 109 as England posted 272 for eight and despite Harmanpreet Kaur's maiden ODI century in India's reply, they closed on 240 for nine, Katherine Brunt taking four for 29.

Edwards Sets Up England Victory Over South Africa

Captain Charlotte Edwards hit 78 from the to order to set up a 51-run win for England Women over South Africa Women in their 2013 World Cup warm-up match in Mumbai. Although no other player could reach a half-century, England's 270 for nine proved to be beyond South Africa, for whom Trisha Chetty (57) and Mignon du Preez (64 not out) top scored.

England Captain Inspired By Girls Disability Sport Day

England Women's Cricket Captain, Charlotte Edwards, took time out of her busy schedule to lend her support to a Cricket for Change organised 'Disability Sport Awareness Day' on the 15th January 2013, which was a focus for girls and young women. The event held at The MCC Indoor School at Lord's Cricket Ground, was in support of the increase in exposure of sportswomen with a disability brought about by the London Paralympic Games, around 150 girls and young women attending from 17 different schools across London.

Charlotte Edwards is set for her fifth Women's World Cup after she was named as the captain of England's 15-strong squad for the competition. Edwards led England to the title in 2009 and will take charge again during next year's tournament, which gets underway in India on 31st January.

England captain Charlotte Edwards has been named as the Cricket World Player Of The Week after two outstanding innings helped her side maintain a 14-match unbeaten run in New Zealand. In the first two matches of the One-Day International series that England would sweep 3-0, Edwards scored 84 and then an unbeaten 137 in 88 balls.

Charlotte Edwards scored her fifth One-Day International century to set up a 96-run win for England Women in the second game against South Africa Women in Potchefstroom. Her innings of 138 steered England towards an imposing total of 315 for six before South Africa were bowled out for 219 in reply as England moved to an unassailable 2-0 series lead.
